守望相助之！AY members on Patrol!

Two members from our AY, along with two pastors, have recently joined the community patrol team that set up couple of months ago. Among some 30 volunteers, we are basically on patrol 3 nights a month (11pm-2am). It has been exciting so far as to go around the neighbourhood with police gear on, as you can see in the photo (from left, Pastor Lai, Vincent and Secret), except for the pistols though.

Just imagine that our church burned down one day, would the neibourhood be mourning for us? Or just another gossip at the table? What good have we done to deserve ours neighbours' attention? This church buliding (after it moved from the neighbouring suburb) has been around for nearly 2 decades, we, though sadly, need to admit that most of our congregation are not from the neighbourhood. But now we are more than happy to say that more and more of our members have enrolled themselves in the community activities and volunteer works, which creats a new, possitive and a more functional image to the locals. Community patrolling being one of them, and we have elementary school students from disadvantaged families coming to our daycare centre after school, etc. For sure, satan is trying his best to stop us from preaching the gosple, but Thank God, He is always on our side as we walk on this narrow path. So lets be not be ashamed of the gospel, lets get involved in our community , grab more souls back to the path and be an impact!
